Camping with Full Hook-Ups

City Park

Pay $15 at City Hall (185 E 3rd Street) upon arrival.

Dry Camping

Location: 
Prairie Arboretum and Freeman Academy Parking Lot at 880 Cedar St.

RV Camping will be on the south portion of the gravel lot between Heritage hall Museum and Archives and the soccer field.

Tent Camping will be on the grassy area next to this parking lot.

RV Camping
Size:  Approximately 20 x 40 to accommodate RVs with slides. There will be one camper on each spot.
If necessary, we can accommodate 45 foot motor homes.

Tent Camping
Size: Approximately 20 x 20.

Reservations:
To reserve a spot, contact us.  We will confirm via email that we have reserved your spot.  Mail a $10 check to Freeman Community Development Corporation C/O South Dakota Chislic  PO Box 43 Freeman, SD 57029.

Check in Time: 
Campers will check in between 10:00AM and 1:00PM on Saturday.  Volunteers will be available during that time period to check you in and assign your camping location.

Check out Time: 
Campers will be required to check out on Sunday by 12:00PM.

Facilities: 
Bathrooms
Bathroom facilities will be open and available from check in until 11:00PM on Saturday.
Showers will be available until 11:00AM Sunday morning 7/29. 

Dumping
There will not be any facility for dumping at the camping area.

General Rules: 
No campfires will be allowed. Pets must be on leash at all times.  Pets may not be left unattended in the camping area (pets allowed).
